Psyche Pair, if you want it
One tap after your read. Muse shows you the card matches will see, you fix anything that's off, and it asks the few things Instagram can't show, like your religion and plans for kids. Then, once a week, the few people who fit you best: on what you need, how you live, where you're heading, how you talk things through and what you value. Pick up to two. If it's mutual, message each other in Muse or swap Instagram.
No swiping. If no one fits well enough this week, we show no one. Cards only ever say what's good about someone.
Psyche Pair Plus
Psyche Pair is free: your read, Sync, 2 picks a week, answering anyone who picks you, chat and the Instagram swap. Plus gives you 5 picks a week, a drop of up to 8 and 5 custom must-haves, for US$4.99 a month or US$29 a year. Matches still have to clear the same bar: Plus shows you more of the people who fit, never people who don't.
Privacy
The short version. Muse reads your Instagram on your behalf. We never receive your posts, captions, comments, stories or messages.
Your read. Muse writes your Psyche read and sends it to PsycheAI once, to make your private link. It is stored encrypted under a key that exists only in your link, so we can't read it, and it is deleted after 7 days. Once you open it, it lives in your browser, like any PsycheAI read. To draw your card image, the plugin keeps the card-level summary (character, headline, type, pattern names, top motivations, a few interests) for the same 7 days.
If you join Psyche Pair, we keep what's needed to match you: first name, age, gender, who you'd like to meet, city, Instagram handle, up to three photo links (we fetch a photo to draw your card and don't keep a copy), your answers about religion, kids and the like, and scored traits (needs, lifestyle, future plans, communication, values, background, personality), each marked as from Instagram or from you, with a confidence level. Also your preferences, your answers to matching questions, who was shown to whom, picks and answers, and, for date check-ins, only whether you met and would again. All of it is encrypted at rest, and your email is kept apart from your profile.
If you join from psycheai.io (Use for Psyche Pair, under your read there), your browser sends the card-level part of your read: type, Big Five, attachment lean, love languages, interests, values, motivations, character, headline and pattern names. It's held for an hour while you sign in, then kept as part of your Psyche Pair profile, marked as from your read. Anything you tell Muse yourself always replaces it.
If you use Sync, we keep the card-level profile from your latest read (character, type, Big Five, pattern names, motivations, interests, values, how you show care) and your Instagram handle, encrypted, so friends can sync with you, until you delete it. Never your posts, messages or report. Asks are kept 30 days. Someone you sync with sees your card-level profile through their own Muse.
If you buy Plus, Stripe takes the payment, and we never see your card. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription ids, whether it's active, and when it renews or ends.
Your email, for sign-in codes and at most one digest a day when you've been away. Sign-in codes and tokens are stored only in hashed form.
What we never do. We never guess your religion, ethnicity, politics, health, drug use or height: these come only from you, and the optional ones can stay blank. We never judge looks from photos, never sell your data, and never use it for ads.
Who sees what. A match sees your card in stages: photo, first name, age, city, headline, character and fit in the weekly drop; more if you pick each other. Your Instagram shows only if you both choose to swap. Muse (Meta) sees what passes through your chat with it, under Meta's own terms.
Private chat. If you use the web chat instead of Muse, messages are encrypted when stored. Nobody at PsycheAI reads them unless one of you reports the other: a report keeps that conversation for up to 90 days for our safety review. Otherwise messages are deleted after 30 days, or straight away if either of you ends the chat or blocks the other.
Your choices. Change your profile any time by telling Muse. Pause matching, or say "Delete my PsycheAI data" to remove your card, profile, preferences, answers, matches, intros, chats and Syncs. Or email admin@psycheai.io.
Where. PsycheAI is operated from Singapore and follows the Personal Data Protection Act. Data is stored with our hosting and database providers, encrypted in transit and at rest. The rest of PsycheAI is covered by the main privacy policy.
Terms
Who can use Psyche Pair. You must be 18 or over, and use your own Instagram and real, recent photos of yourself.
Be decent. No harassment, hate, threats, scams, requests for money, sexual content sent without consent, or commercial use. We may pause or remove anyone, and hold reported conversations for review.
What it is. Your read and your matches are insight from your own data, not facts and not a prediction that a relationship will work. It is coaching and self-insight, never therapy or a diagnosis. We don't run background checks, so meet in public and use your judgement.
Plus renews each month or year until you cancel, under "Manage or cancel" at app.psycheai.io/plus. Cancelling keeps Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your data cancels it straight away.
Characters are named only to say who you're most like. Their names belong to their owners, and no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
The rest of the main terms apply too, including the limits on liability and Singapore law.
Safety
Before you meet. Chat first. Meet somewhere public, tell a friend where you'll be, and get yourself there and back.
Red flags. Requests for money, gifts or crypto; pressure to move to another app quickly; a story that changes; refusing a video call before meeting.
Report or block. Say to Muse: "Block and report <name>", with a reason. Blocking removes you from each other's matches and ends your chat.
In danger? Call 999 in Singapore, or your local emergency number.
